Giving back to Gainesville

What started as a lunchroom conversation has turned into a shared vision to volunteer within our community by sharing our professional talents.

Sometimes going to work each day doesn’t satisfy the feeling that you are doing your part in the city where you live. And sometimes volunteering for individual organizations doesn’t either. I’ve spent many years volunteering with several organizations across town. All of these groups I love dearly but my individual impact never seemed to yield the results I knew were possible with pooled talent. All I’ve ever really wanted was these non-profits to serve the most people, raise the most funds and reach their full potential.

Other friends and colleagues seemed to share these thoughts and together we’ve formed COMM | UNITY. This is a group who wants to provide our expertise to those in our community who need assistance with advertising, marketing, public relations and so on. If you want to join us, please do. If you’d like our help, please let us know.

We aren’t quitting our day jobs, but we are making a point to extend ourselves to Gainesville and Alachua County in more impactful and direct ways.

COMMUNICATIONS + COMMUNITY + COMING TOGETHER = COMM | UNITY

Thanks, friends.
